📜 Return & Refund Policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Eligibility for Return

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unworn, unwashed, or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Starting a Return (Return Authorization Required)

To start a return, you must contact us at $\text{support@gearworks.shop}$ to receive a Return Authorization (RA) number.

  • Return Shipping: All returns are required to be shipped to our head office in Canada.

  • Return Shipping Costs: For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for any return shipping fees. If the item is defective or incorrect (our fault), we will provide a pre-paid shipping label.

  • Important: Items sent back to us without first requesting an RA number will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues (Defective Items)

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately (within 48 hours of delivery) if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item. We will evaluate the issue and ship a replacement or issue a refund at no cost to you.


Exceptions / Final Sale Items

Certain items are designated as Final Sale and cannot be returned for a refund or exchange for change-of-mind reasons:

  • Perishable goods (food, flowers, or plants).

  • Custom products (special orders or personalized items).

  • Personal care/hygiene goods where the seal is broken (beauty products).

  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.

  • Gift cards.

Sale Items: Items purchased on sale are covered by this policy for defects or damage but are Final Sale for change-of-mind reasons.

 

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

 

European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

 

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
